Free Things to Do in Perth: Parks, Beaches and Culture

Perth is generous with free attractions, starting with Kings Park and Botanic Garden, one of the world's largest inner-city parks with panoramic views over the Swan River and city skyline. Cottesloe Beach, Scarborough Beach and City Beach are all free to access and among the best metropolitan beaches in Australia. The Art Gallery of Western Australia and the WA Museum Boola Bardip on Perth Cultural Centre are both free entry. The Subiaco, Fremantle and various neighbourhood farmers markets are free to browse. The Swan River foreshore from South Perth to East Perth makes for a pleasant walk in either direction.
