Perth companies see an opening to adapt those trends for mining operations and remote health services that dominate the state's economy. Local Pilots Underway

Teams at the Perth Innovation Lab on Hay Street and the Curtin University Edge precinct in Bentley are running separate trials. One group tests AI chat features that track family medication schedules while another evaluates glasses that display calendar data without any recording hardware. Both projects draw on state grants announced in March 2026 that require prototypes to reach at least 200 local users before commercial release.
